Follow these steps: Fill reservoir 3/4 full with warm water and mild soap. Shake reservoir to mix water and soap. Elevate the reservoir so drink tube exit port is at the base and bite valve is below the reservoir. Pinch bite valve, allowing solution to flow into drink tube, and through the bite valve. After washing, rinse away cleaning solution in the reservoir and drink tube. Drain all remaining water. The reservoir is ready to use. All of our components are removable for easy cleaning. 1. Disconnect the drink tube from the reservoir. 2. Grasp the bite valve in one hand and tube in the other then pull the valve firmly to remove the bite valve from the tube. 3. Gently remove the silicone sheath from the valve and clean with a cleaning tablet or mild soap and water. 4. Keeping your reservoir clean is key to extending its life and keeping your water fresh. Unlike, cleaning other reservoirs, NDURE reservoirs are top-shelf dishwasher safe and most are reversible which makes cleaning and drying easy. As simple as it gets - reverse by placing your hand in the reservoir (make sure it's empty!), grab the bottom, and pull it back through the top opening. It's just like turning a sock inside-out.
